Ryan Townsend is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Washington State University College of Nursing in Spokane. He has been teaching across undergraduate and graduate programs since 2002 and became the Undergraduate Pre-Licensure Program Director in 2013. Ryan received his Master's Degree at Washington State University College of Nursing in 2004. While in his Master's program, he served as research assistant for the Medically Indigent Rural Area (MIRA) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program and was a teaching assistant as well at Washington State University. After teaching for many years he became the Professional Development Director in 2010 prior to accepting his current role. He is a practicing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who currently works in his own private practice in Spokane.
