Cory Risse's area of interest is child and family health. She has worked as a nurse in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology/Subspecialty Unit at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital (SHCH) most of her career, where she continues to work supplemental hours. She also has experience in school nursing and family practice. In addition to teaching at WSU College of Nursing, she is a co-coordinator for the WSU/SHCH Pediatric Outreach Program. She is a certified PALS/PEARS instructor.
